So here we are again! About a year ago we decided to adopt from Vietnam but then decided to hold off for awhile till we were more stable financially. My Husband, Danny, had just graduated from Chiropractic school and had just started working, so we needed for time to get out of DEBT. We've always known we would adopt, it was just a matter of when. This past year was a little difficult because I kept seeing everyone coming home with their beautiful babies, and I couldn't help but think that if we hadn't stopped that could have been us. But I do know that God had something else planned for us so I just remained patient.
So now we've moved (closer to home), are about to purchase and own our own practice, which means more income, which means more stability, which means we can adopt! I'm really excited!
We watched The Secret the other night and since then I've really changed how I view things. Or shall I say I've decided to change how I view things. (I'm a work in Progress!) What hit me the most was the idea of visualization and the Law of Attraction. It says you need to visualize what you want and really experience and feel the emotion of what it would feel like to have what you want. Does that make sense? By putting these thoughts and positive emotions into the universe, you will in turn receive what you want due to the Law of Attraction. So now I'm on my journey of visualizing our baby and really trying to feel all the emotion that goes with that. I'm really putting in alot of positive energy into this and I really feel like it's working. I've made alot of stride in the past couple of days, and I really FEEL like this is really happening!
